Turquoise
Most people know turquoise from its heavy usage in Southwestern Native American Jewelry, but this beautiful stone has been mined since at least the first Egyptian dynasty (3000 BCE). Turquoise comes in many shades from blue to green, and everything in between. It has many purported health and healing benefits, and whether you believe in that or not, it is still quite fascinating to look at.
Turquoise Bead Necklace
This necklace is made from stunning beads of turquoise from Afghanistan. It is accented with pyrite spacers, and comes together with a silver lobster clasp. Heavy gauged silver wire was used to ensure it stayed together for many years to come.
